Technology is global, so we are often called on to advise on immigration and work permits, as well as employment contracts and employment disputes.

In an increasingly international business world, many organisations need and expect to bring foreign staff to the UK.  At the same time, Government policy has, after many years of liberalisation, shifted to one based on limits, quotas and compliance. Fox Williams’ dedicated business immigration unit, located in our Employment Department, responds to this need by advising employers and business people on the often complex issues which arise. 

We offer our clients the expert help they need in assessing and, where possible securing the necessary permissions through a combination of technical expertise and practical experience of dealing with the relevant UK Government department in the UK and abroad.  Dealing with immigration applications and compliance can be time consuming, frustrating and confusing for the uninitiated.  There are also some very nasty pitfalls.  We aim to simplify the process for clients and to ensure that applications are handled as expeditiously as possible, whilst counselling a compliant and realistic approach.
