Recruitment Process Lawyers
In general we operate a two stage interview for lawyers.
The first stage of the interview process will consist of a competency based interview with a member of the HR team as well as a partner from the relevant department. First interviews are usually of a broad-based nature, where candidates are encouraged to establish whether there is a mutual interest between their own career ambitions and the needs of Fox Williams.
The second stage of the interview process is usually conducted with two partners. You should expect this meeting to be more technical in nature although it will continue to be a competency based interview. For some positions, there may be a requirement for a skills assessment.
Once an offer is under consideration, there will be an opportunity to meet members from the department in a more informal setting.
Recruitment Process Secretarial/Support
In general we operate a two stage interview process for our secretarial and support staff.
At first interview stage you would meet with a member of the HR team.
The second stage of the interview process is where you will meet with your prospective line manager and/or with the Head of Department.
Interviews are competency based and for some positions, you may also be required to undertake a skills assessment.
Once an offer is under consideration, you will then have an opportunity to meet with members of your future colleagues in a more informal setting.
