Recruitment process

Fox Williams recruits trainees in the year they would commence the training contract.

After you've completed your application form we operate a two stage recruitment process:

Assessment Centre: Should your application form match what we are looking for, you will be invited to an assessment centre at our offices at Ten Dominion Street. This  will last about half a day and will include a group exercise with some of your fellow applicants as well as several individual exercises.  Following this, you will have a tour of the firm with one of our current trainees who will be able to answer any of your questions and give you an insight into training at Fox Williams.

Interview: If you are successful at the assessment centre you will be invited back to our offices to meet with a partner and the HR and Training Manager for a competency-based interview. You will also be asked to prepare a presentation in advance to deliver at the interview. You should expect to be at our offices for about an hour and a half for this stage.

News: You will hear from us shortly after your second interview as to whether you will be offered a training contract and, if successful, you will join us in early September. Before that you will have the opportunity to meet other members of the firm at several social events during the summer so that there are few familiar faces when you start.
