Recruitment process
Fox Williams recruits trainees in the year they would commence the training contract. Our application process for September 2008 is open until 30th April 2008.
We operate a two stage recruitment process and should your application be successful, you will be invited for first interview at our offices at Ten Dominion Street. This interview will be with a member of the HR team and a Senior Associate. It will be a competency based interview. You should expect to be at our offices for approximately one hour at this first stage.
If you are successful at first interview stage you will be invited back to our offices to meet with a partner and the HR/Training Director for your second interview. This interview will also be competency based and you will be asked to complete a technical exercise. You should expect to be at our offices for approximately two hours at this second stage. You will be asked to comment and answer questions on the technical exercise that you completed. Following this, you will have a tour of the firm with one of our current trainees who will be able to answer any of your questions and give you an insight into training at Fox Williams.
The recruitment process will last approximately two months. This is what happens:
- First interviews take place from February through to May.
- Second interviews take place from March through to June - Second interviews are more indepth, exploring who you are and how you would fit into Fox Williams' culture and working environment. It is also a two way process, so you get to find out more about us too.
- News: You will hear from us shortly after your second interview as to whether you will be offered a formalised training contract.
- Welcome: If you have been successful in gaining a training contract, you will then join us in early September for a comprehensive two week orientation programme.
