All businesses are involved in the buying or selling of goods or services and need advice on commercial law. As such, our commercial lawyers deal with the real world.
We advise British and overseas business in all industries in doing business both in the UK and internationally.
Much of our work is for principals and agents and suppliers and distributors. Many of our clients are in the fashion industry where we act for businesses across the supply chain from designers through to retailers
Increasingly we act for UK independent schools and other education service providers in setting up international franchise and other overseas operations.
Our expertise includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial arrangements, assisting from start to finish until agreement is reached.
Sometimes we are called upon to advise on how our clients can get out of the agreements into which they have entered at which point we can be inventive! But always commercial advice is provided in context as we provide realistic solutions to suit our clients’ needs.
