Congratulations to academic and professional publisher Elgar Publishing, who were named Fox Williams Independent Publisher of the Year at the 2017 IPG Spring Conference. Sponsored for the third consecutive year by Fox Williams, Peter Faber, Head of Publishing and Media at the firm, presented the Award to Elgar Publishing’s Managing Director, Tim Williams.
During the 2017 conference, Fox Williams senior associate Mary Elliot discussed Recruitment do’s and don’ts, with attendees praising it as an “excellent talk”.
Peter Faber said “The UK’s independent publishing sector is flourishing. The Fox Williams award winner is chosen out of the five finalists. From a very strong field Elgar Publishing was the winner of the ProQuest Academic and Professional Publishing award. As part of our commitment to independent publishing we are delighted to take part in the judging process and see the very high standards achieved”.
