Fox Williams acted for Osprey Publishing Limited (“Osprey” ), an international publishing company, on the acquisition of the assets and publishing business of Duncan Baird Publishers (“DBP”) incorporating Watkins Publishing (“Watkins”).
Osprey publishes under four brands; Osprey Publishing, Shire, Old House and Angry Robot, across a range of specialist areas, including military history, transport history, antiques and science fiction. DBP is the leading publisher of illustrated books in the fields of food, nutritional health, culture and lifestyle, and Watkins specialises in the spiritual traditions of the world, ancient wisdom and philosophy.
The Fox Williams team included Peter Faber, Laura Lumby, Emma Bailey, Jaspal Pachu, Ozlem Kulle and Rebecca Watkins. DBP was advised by Blake Lapthorn.
