City law firm Fox Williams LLP (Fox Williams) has strengthened its Employment, Partnerships, Corporate and Business Immigration teams in key areas through a wave of recent appointments. Helen Farr is the latest addition to the firm and joins as a Partner in the Employment team.

Helen joins from top 20 firm Pinsent Masons. She has particular expertise in the financial and professional services sectors, which complements Fox Williams’ key focus in this area. Fox Williams offers financial and professional services clients leading expertise across Corporate, Employment, Regulatory, Partnerships and Immigration law and Helen will work alongside her colleagues in each of these areas to serve Fox Williams’ growing client base.

Helen’s hire comes at a momentous time for the Employment team which has recently been shortlisted for a major award for acting in Geys v. Société Générale, a landmark Supreme Court case.

As well as this recent Partner hire, Fox Williams has also welcomed three Associates in the last two months to the Employment, Partnership and corporate teams from major firms:

  • Josie Taylor joined the Employment and Immigration team from Pinsent Masons, where she was an Associate. Josie advises employers and senior executives on the full range of employment and immigration related matters, including termination negotiations and compromise agreements, executive service agreements, disciplinary and grievance procedures and immigration audits.
  • Wendy Chung joined the Professional Practices group from Allen & Overy, where she was an Associate. Wendy advises both professional practices and individual partners on a range of matters including: partnership disputes and settlements, LLP conversions, ABS applications, partnership mergers and acquisitions.
  • Sarah McGaffin has joined the Corporate group from Allen & Overy to specialise in corporate transactional work and partnership law.
