Mary advises on commercial acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, general landlord and tenant issues, property management, investment portfolios, secured lending, property finance, the property aspects of corporate transactions and residential property matters. Mary acts for a wide range for clients, including management teams and investors, corporations, hotels, financial institutions and high net worth individuals.

Mary joined Fox Williams in 2013 as a trainee and qualified as an associate in the real estate department in 2015.

  • Advised on the real estate aspects of a M&A deal for a large self-storage company as part of a vast expansion of their self-storage business involving five leasehold properties across the UK.

  • Advised on the real estate aspects of three substantial self-storage acquisitions, all of which completed in 2019.

  • Advised on the restructure of a prestigious hotel in Central London.

  • Advised on the sale of a large commercial building just outside of London to a Pension Fund, with a sale price of over £20m.

  • Advised a large property investment company on its acquisition of a new office site in South Wales, subject to numerous occupational leases.

  • Advised Panther (VAT) Properties Ltd on the acquisition of a new business park.

  • Advised on the real estate aspects of the sale of leading mobile and fixed line solutions provider, Adam Phones Limited, to Radius Payment Solutions Limited.

  • Advised overseas individuals on the acquisition of a residential flat in prime Central London.
