Commercial law for fashion

Getting fashion products to customers involves entering into a series of business relationships – all of which require commercial agreements. We have special expertise in advising on distributorship, agency and supply agreements. Our fashion clients benefit from our advice on concession and franchise agreements. We also know the tricks behind conditions of sale.

Some of our recent work includes acting for:

  • DKH Retail Limited (owners of the SUPERDRY brand) in preparing and negotiating distribution and supply agreements for a number of Asian and European markets
  • Preparing distribution agreements for the following territories: Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg
  • Rachel Riley Limited in preparing the distribution agreement for Japan
  • Penfield Inc Limited in preparing the company's standard distribution agreement and specifically the distribution agreement for Japan.
  • Revising a standard distribution agreement into a letter format in order to encourage the current distributors to accept the terms of the written agreement
