Fox Williams advises on disposal of majority stake in leading international software company

Fox Williams advised the sellers of a majority stake in software specialist ArtiCAD Holdings Limited to German-based IT software company, SHD AG.

ArtiCAD specialises in the development and marketing of design software and custom technologies for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry and is one of the leading players in the international market for visual planning software.

Richard Turner, founder of ArtiCAD, said “This affiliation with SHD AG, the leading provider for IT solutions for the German furniture and kitchen market, is the right alignment for ArtiCAD and for our new and existing customers. It extends our global growth opportunities significantly.” Richard Turner, and Group Sales Director, Daniel Allerton, will remain as shareholders and will be responsible for the further development and sales strategy for ArtiCAD’s software solutions.

Senior Partner Paul Osborne led the Fox Williams team supported by Legal Director Howard Taylor on corporate aspects and Partner Nigel Miller and Associate Sian Barr on IP and commercial matters.
