Congratulations to the University of Cambridge, who took first place at the Fox Williams Pre-Moot over the weekend of 17 and 18 February, and to the University of Leicester and The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple for coming in second and third place, respectively. We also congratulate Shree Ziradkar of Leicester, for the best advocate in the general (Saturday) rounds.

The Pre-Moot was very competitive this year, with a very high standard of arguments. Head of the firm’s international arbitration practice, Peter Ashford, hosted the event prior to attending as a judge at the Vis Moot in Vienna. Peter said, “Thanks again to all those arbitrators who gave their time in mastering the problem, sitting for us over the weekend and giving tips and feedback to the teams. Seeing the arguments develop overnight shows the value of this and that it was taken on-board by the teams.”

Further thanks goes to the team at Fox Williams, and to Sabrina Janzik (associate) in particular, for helping to organise the Pre-Moot.
