Partner promotions: Mary Elliott and David Murphy

Legal directors: Rebecca Evans and Emma Roake

Trade mark director: Sarah Redmond

City law firm Fox Williams LLP has made two internal promotions to partner. From 1 May, Mary Elliott becomes a partner in the Corporate department and David Murphy becomes a partner in the Employment department.

Mary joined Fox Williams from Allen & Overy in 2012 and is a corporate advisory and M&A specialist. She regularly advises on AIM listings, public takeovers and corporate governance matters. Within the technology space, Mary has a particular focus on publishing and digital media, as well as on companies in the leisure and hospitality sector.

David joined Fox Williams in 2007 from Nabarro and advises businesses and senior executives on sensitive employment issues, board appointments and exits, tribunal litigation and the employment aspects of corporate transactions. He particularly focuses on clients in the financial and professional services sectors.

Further reflecting market demand, the firm also has three new directors: Rebecca Evans becomes a legal director in Real Estate and Emma Roake in Commerce and Technology. Sarah Redmond is promoted to trade mark director within the Intellectual Property group.

Senior partner Paul Osborne said: “I am truly delighted that by investing in our people we have been able to promote five exceptionally talented lawyers, each of whom has built and developed long standing client relationships. As we look forward to celebrating 30 years since the foundation of Fox Williams, we remain dedicated to providing great client service and building strong and long term relationships.”
