Nathalie Abildgaard

January 17, 2019

Joanna Chatterton and Ed Livingstone of Fox Williams LLP are acting for Nathalie Abildgaard in her harassment and victimisation claim against IFM Investors and its employee, Frederic Michel-Verdier.

Ms Abildgaard will give evidence today. Mr Michel-Verdier will be cross-examined during the week commencing 24th January.

Driven by her experience of pursuing the claim, Nathalie has established a charity, Legal Aid for Business Diversity (labd.co.uk) to help other individuals pursuing similar claims to access funding. The charity has been endorsed by Jess Phillips MP, who is also a member of the Women and Equalities Committee.

Joanna Chatterton said: “In our experience, the cost of bringing a claim for harassment and other discrimination can deter applicants from pursuing legitimate claims. With no Government Legal Aid available for employment tribunal claims, the support which Legal Aid for Business Diversity will provide may be the only means of achieving access to justice.”
