Alex Canning is an associate in the corporate team at Fox Williams.

He acts for clients in a wide range of matters including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity financing and corporate restructuring. He also advises on arrangements between shareholders and corporate governance issues.

Alex has worked with clients operating in a variety of sectors but has a particular focus on technology and professional services. He also has experience acting in the sale and purchase of property investment companies and SPVs, which commonly involve offshore structures.

Alex has advised numerous businesses with their fundraising activities at various stages of their development, from seed and angel finance through to series funding rounds involving VCs and corporate investors.

Alex qualified as a solicitor in 2017. Prior to joining Fox Williams he worked in the same field at another London-based firm.
