David is an experienced intellectual property lawyer specialising in the protection, enforcement and exploitation of all intellectual property rights, including copyright, databases, designs, patents and trade marks.

David has particular expertise in IP disputes and has managed cases in all the major UK and EU courts, including the Supreme Court and European Court of Justice.

Prior to joining Fox Williams, David spent six years working for the BBC where he gained a wealth of experience advising on IPRs in the media and technology sectors.

Earlier in his career David spent nine years in private practice where he advised a number of household name clients on IP issues across sectors ranging from fashion to pharmaceutical and technology.
