Ramie specialises in class action litigation. In that context, he has acted on several high-profile multibillion pound disputes representing both claimants and defendants.

Ramie has a wide scope of procedural experience. He has filed both opt-in and opt-out competition law claims, defended clients in cartel follow-on damages claims and worked on group litigation orders and CPR 19.6 representative actions.

Ramie also has significant litigation funding experience. In 2022, he was heavily involved in securing the second largest litigation funding deal in UK legal history.

Ramie began his career at Herbert Smith Freehills where he contributed to the first edition of the market-leading textbook ‘Class Actions in England and Wales’.
