Simon appeared in the Business Questions feature in the Fund Management section of the Financial Times on Saturday 5 June 2010. Asked about trademark infringements on the internet, Simon explained that it is legal for search engines to sell a trademark as a search term. However, if asked to remove the link, the search engine must do so. Although time consuming, monitoring the internet and requesting the removal of links is the only feasible way to prevent third parties using brands to advertise fake products.
