Fox Williams acted for Caralon Global in their joint venture funding agreement with the Low Carbon Innovation Fund, an EU backed venture fund (managed by Turquoise International Ltd on behalf of the University of East Anglia). Caralon Global will receive an undisclosed cash injection, delivered in two instalments.
Caralon Global develops and manufactures high performance thermal insulation products, which can be used in many commercial and consumer goods. The Low Carbon Innovation Fund provides equity finance for small and medium sized enterprises that are contributing to the low carbon economy in the East of England.
Paul Taylor, Partner at Fox Williams, commented: “We’re delighted that Caralon Global have received this funding, which will help the company develop and market its unique products. We look forward to working with them in the future as their business grows.”
Paul Taylor led the transaction and was assisted by corporate associate Elliot Cowan and senior tax associate Jaspal Pachu.
