Fox Williams advised German-based foods group Laurens Spethmann Holding (“LSH”) on its investment in Halo Foods Limited (“Halo”) by way of acquisition of shares representing 45% of the entire issued share capital of Halo from its private equity owner.
Operating throughout Europe, LSH is a modern and flexible family company in its 4th generation, with the advantages of a company culture shaped by owners. LSH’s product range includes tea, cereals, snack bars and sweeteners.
Halo is a leading UK-based developer and manufacturer of specialist snack bars for customers own brands.
The Fox Williams team on the transaction was led by Head of Corporate Richie Clark, principally assisted by tax partner Emma Bailey, corporate associate Julia McKendry, employment associate Tom Pennington-Hare and real estate associates James Young and Mary Ince.
