The second edition of Global Investigations Review (GIR): Practitioner’s Guide to Global Investigations has now been published.

James Carlton, Sona Ganatra and David Murphy of Fox Williams’ dispute resolution and employment teams contributed the chapter on ‘Employee Rights: The UK Perspective.’ The Guide covers the issues and risks that arise at every stage in the lifecycle of a serious corporate investigation, from the discovery of a potential problem through its exploration, all the way to final resolution.

The ‘Employee Rights: The UK Perspective’ chapter includes details on contractual and statutory employee rights, representation, indemnification and insurance coverage, and privilege concerns for employees and other individuals. Everything from interviewing clients, requesting documents (from employers, law enforcement or other witnesses) and joint defence agreements is covered.
