Fox Williams recently advised Total Specific Solutions (TSS) B.V (“TSS”) on the acquisition of Stratec Biomedical, the middleware software solutions division of Stratec SE, a world-leading partner for fully automated analyzer systems. TSS enters the UK market with this acquisition, which completed on 4 May 2020, and further strengthens its position in the healthcare domain.
Stratec Biomedical, now known as Biomedical Data Solutions, has approved middleware software, providing data management for the diagnostic industry. Their solutions optimize and accelerate laboratory efficiencies whilst complying with regulatory requirements. Collaboration is worldwide directly to large-scale end-users, diagnostic companies and instrument manufacturers – as both standard and individually customised versions.
Working closely with the TSS in-house team, the Fox Williams team was led by partner and head of corporate Richie Clark and corporate senior associate Sarah Carlton, with assistance from tax director Joanne Varia, employment partner David Murphy, employment senior associate Daisy Jones, employment associate Jessica Ambrose, intellectual property partner Simon Bennett and intellectual property associate Charlotte Kong.
