Partner and travel law expert Rhys Griffiths joined Fox Williams just over a year ago as head of the firm’s travel group with a remit to build a one-stop legal service to the travel industry. Rhys and his team are currently advising clients on various business critical issues arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, including on ATOL issues, chargebacks, acquirer relationships, regulatory and consumer obligations and recoveries against suppliers.

Now the firm’s travel group has expanded with the appointment this month of associate Anna Tindall. Anna joins Rhys in the firm’s dedicated travel team.

Anna’s experience encompasses travel regulations, aviation matters and experience in a range of commercial matters in the travel and aviation sector. Prior to joining Fox Williams, Anna held roles with low cost carrier fastjet plc, and leading air charter broker, Air Charter Service, where she advised on matters including charter contracts, aircraft management contracts and on travel compliance and regulation.

Rhys Griffiths said: “The impact of Covid-19 is causing disruption to every aspect of the travel industry. We are working with clients to help resolve the commercial and regulatory problems they are facing and that, even a few months ago, could not have been anticipated. I am delighted that Anna has joined us and our extended team of lawyers within Fox Williams, to address the very many issues that our clients are currently encountering. It’s important that we are doing all we can to help our clients survive, recover and thrive again once we come out of this.”
