Fox Williams advised the Jonas Software operating group of TSX-listed Constellation Software Inc. on its recent acquisition of the AMT Sybex group, a leading provider of critical utilities and infrastructure software in the UK, from main market-listed Capita plc. The transaction completed on 1 January 2022.
Working closely with the Jonas in-house team, the acquisition was led by head of corporate Richie Clark and senior associate Sarah Carlton, with support from corporate associate Hollie Allen. Further assistance was provided by a firm-wide team of specialists including tax and incentives partner Emma Bailey and tax legal director Jo Varia, employment partner David Murphy, employment legal director Tom Pennington-Hare, employment associate Grace Waterhouse, data protection partner Nigel Miller and real estate senior associate Mary Majewska.
