Courses to take place in March, September and November

Fox Williams today launches three new virtual webinars as part of its premium HRLaw training offering for business managers, directors, HR professionals and in-house legal teams.

Each course is designed to be highly practical and based on real-life scenarios to provide maximum engagement with the relevant topic and offer help and guidance on sometimes tricky and sensitive HR issues.

The highly interactive nature of the courses encourages discussion and interaction amongst delegates to bring key employment law issues to life.

Attendees will explore each topic in depth and are provided with suitable take-home materials to supplement the training session.

The courses this year will look at:

  • The rules governing the dismissal and re-engagement process or “fire and rehire” as it is known more widely
  • How HR professionals can best manage their employees’ mental health at work
  • The management and prevention workplace harassment.

All three courses are run by expert trainer and lawyer Selwyn Blyth, who trained and practised as an employment lawyer. Selwyn now specialises in training HR teams and managers in dealing effectively with workplace issues and has worked with Fox Williams for several years to deliver high-quality, informative and practical insights that delegates can use in their day-to-day jobs.

One attendee from last year’s courses said: “The three sessions were very well prepared, very accessible and clear. Selwyn Blyth was an engaging presenter and the participants shared great views.”

Partner and head of the Fox Williams employment team, Joanna Chatterton said: “We’re delighted that Selwyn will be delivering new courses tailored to the needs of our audience again this year.

“His previous sessions have always been extremely well received and are noted for their practicality and for giving attendees the confidence to take what they have learned with them back to their day-to-day roles.”

Joanna continues: “With each course tackling a different topic, we see many people sign up to multiple courses which reflects their popularity and effectiveness.”
