Fox Williams is pleased to announce that its Pre-Moot will take place on the weekend of 25-26 February 2023.
The event will be the eighth time Fox Williams has hosted a Pre-Moot and will be the fifth consecutive year it has hosted in association with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
After hosting the Pre-Moot virtually for the past two years, the 2023 edition will be held in person to welcome as many teams as possible to London.
In line with previous years, the 2023 Pre-Moot will be preceded by a panel discussion on the procedural aspects of this year’s Problem.
The Fox Williams Pre-Moot is one of the best regarded pre-moots on the global stage and is an important step in preparation for the Vis Moot, which is the biggest commercial arbitration law competition in the world.
Last year’s Pre-Moot welcomed 30 entrants from around the world. The team from the University of Ljubljana were awarded first place. The teams from the University of Ottawa, University of Cambridge and University of Pretoria finished in second, third and fourth places respectively.
