Fox Williams has advised independent restructuring practice THM Partners LLP on its sale to global consulting firm AlixPartners. The transaction involved AlixPartners acquiring THM’s UK, German and Singaporean businesses.
The Fox Williams M&A deal team was led by partner Doug Preece, supported by senior associate Beth Silkin and associate Georgie Glover. Partner and head of our professional services group, Daniel Sutherland and senior associate Ed Livingstone provided partnership advice. Partner David Murphy and legal director Tom Pennington Hare led on employment aspects with partner Nigel Miller advising on IP matters; and Legal Director Mardi MacGregor advising on financial services regulatory matters.
THM Partners was founded in 2001 and pioneered the Chief Restructuring Officer role in the UK and Europe. In recent years it has assisted companies such as Travelex, Travelodge and Interserve. The deal has seen THM’s partners and staff join AlixPartners Turnaround & Restructuring Services practice.
