It has certainly been a busy year for employment law so far. The Government has pressed ahead with its legislative agenda with several new Acts becoming law. We discussed the impact of these upcoming legal changes, as well as current consultations/proposals, and what a new Labour Government might mean for employment law.
We also discussed the hot topic of workplace bullying and harassment. With a new legal duty to prevent sexual harassment about to become law, and increasing regulator scrutiny of misconduct, this topic should be firmly on employers’ radar.
