I am an associate in the employment team. I advise employers and senior executives, frequently in the financial and professional services sectors, in relation to a variety of complex and often contentious workplace situations. ”

Constance advises clients on a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious employment-related matters. She has a particular focus on the financial services sector and regularly advises financial institutions (including hedge funds, investment banks and brokers) in relation to resolving workplace disputes, especially at board-level, in a commercially sensitive way. Her expertise lies in assisting these clients navigate the complexities of employment-related regulatory regime requirements, such as fitness and propriety, conduct rules and SM&CR. She also routinely advises board-level executives in relation to the termination of their employment (whether under a settlement agreement or otherwise).

Alongside her work in the financial services sector, she also works with clients in technology and professional services. She has a particular interest in restrictive covenant enforcement, internal and external investigations (whether disciplinary or grievance related), and disputes involving discrimination and whistleblowing.

Her ethos is to provide solutions-focused advice which works in the context of her clients’ commercial aims. Constance is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the Broker Club and Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF) networks.
