Tom has over 30 years’ experience covering all aspects of the litigation, arbitration and mediation processes across a broad range of commercial disputes, primarily in the financial services sector.

Much of this has been in the insurance field, where Tom has acted in several substantial policy coverage disputes. Another particular area of expertise is employment-related disputes, where Tom has acted in many high-profile cases, including team moves, bonus disputes and claims involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidentiality obligations. Tom is also a member of the firm’s professional services group and regularly advises clients on SRA compliance issues. He is the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP).

His clients range from corporates to senior executives. He has been frequently quoted in both the national and legal media, including being featured as The Times ‘Lawyer of the Week’.
