The Covid-19 pandemic has emphasised the importance of mental health management as a significant element of future business planning. This training course is based on real-life examples and is vital in ensuring you are responding in the most appropriate, effective and professional way to your employees’ mental health issues. The training is based on two scenarios:
Each scenario will be presented by professional actors and you will observe how each scene plays out and then make suggestions for how to improve the approach. The actors will then replay the scene taking on board your suggestions, allowing you to learn from seeing what works in practice. No role play will be required by those attending the course.
At the end of the course you will have a full understanding of how mental health may constitute a disability at work. You will also be equipped to assess the reasonableness of adjustments for mental health disability with reference to a checklist of seven factors. Attending this course will provide you with the capability and expertise to review, update or instigate policies and procedures for looking after your employees’ mental health.
