I am a partner in Fox Williams' Intellectual property team, and responsible for the day to day management of the Trade Mark and design prosecution practice.”

Sarah has over 30 years’ experience in the trade mark industry and is involved in all aspects of trade mark protection and portfolio management which includes clearance, filing, prosecution, oppositions, invalidations, assignments, and co-existence agreements.

Sarah also advises in relation to trade mark infringement and passing off and has extensive experience in the filing and prosecution of UK and EU designs.

Sarah is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and Member of CITMA. She is also a member of INTA and sits on the Trade Mark Pro Bono Committee, working with other lawyers all over the world.

Sarah has particular expertise in the fashion and tech sectors.

  • Advised various fashion clients in relation to their brand protection and taking action against third parties.

  • Manages Glanbia Performance Nutrition’s global trade mark portfolio, including BSN and Optimum Nutrition, handling brand refresh filings, enforcement, and anti-counterfeiting, with recent successes in UK oppositions and Smart Protein dispute strategy.

  • Successfully defended an EUIPO opposition in relation to a medical device.
