Advising a number of City, US and West End law firms and attorney firms in relation to various contentious regulatory and anti-money laundering supervisory matters including SDT proceedings, investigations, enforcement and reports to the regulators.
Advised on restrictive covenants disputes, including team moves and High Court proceedings.
Advised on high profile litigation in the Employment Tribunal encompassing cases featuring discrimination, equal pay, sexual harassment, whistleblowing, and constructive unfair dismissal.
Advising IPReg-regulated firms and individuals on various regulatory and compliance matters including client engagement terms, referral arrangements, the scope and applicability of AML regulations, and IPReg investigations.
Acting in professional services firm mergers and regulatory due diligence for law firms.
Assisting domestic and international law firms with detailed reviews and amendments to their constitutional and profit-sharing arrangements, partnership and LLP agreements, and partnership structure.
Advising a broad range of international law firms on the establishment of offices in London, including selection of structure and entities, drafting of partnership agreements, regulatory status, registration requirements, policies and procedures, and operating as a non-authorised firm.
Acting as lead contact in relation to a broad range of SRA authorisation applications including new firms, changes of control, change of legal entity, ABS conversion, private equity investment and restructures.
Assisted domestic and international law and professional services firms with detailed reviews and amendments to their compliance policies, including anti-money laundering, sanctions, conflicts, confidentiality, whistleblowing, and the full suite of employment policies.
